We want people to get the care they need.

Providing Mental Health Care

Sheppard Rehabilitation Inc (SRI) is a Residential Program for adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries, located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. SRI began operating in 1993 to help individuals with Traumatic Brain injuries manage semi-independent living.

A Community Based Approach

SRI provides a practical approach to meeting each clients individual needs. This is accomplished by coordinating with other treatment team members and documenting the observations of SRI staff members so we can come to an understanding of client’s needs.

Our Goals for Clients

In Community Living

Clients live semi-independently in apartment complexes is the community. This provides the highest quality of life for TBI survivors while also giving them the support they need.

Engaging with the Community

Clients participate in activities outside of SRI such as employment, education, therapies or volunteer activities. Through these activities they are working on the same skills that everyone must have to be successful in the community

Independent Skills

Sheppard Rehabilitation staff and managers help clients with their Activities of Daily Living such as maintaining hygiene, meal preparation and safety, banking and money management, laundry, apartment upkeep, medication management, medical follow through, and being a good neighbor.

Social Opportunity

Clients also have access to our Day Activities Center where they work on building skills that are functional and relevant to the workplace and socialize with other clients.
